[What a shame. Diao Chan isn't an inherently bad person-- she knows what an 'inherently bad person' is, and that trait shows-- but she can't stop herself from breaking Zhang Liao down in her head. Diao Chan is nothing but cordial, except when she's not, and most of the time that's only reserved for the inside of her mind.
To adapt and to learn how to use the situation to your advantage is to define the line between failure or success. And if not in her original timeline, then she will succeed here, by using what she has. And now, one of Cao Cao's men are in her sights.
