"Empatheias is a large, floating island and is the last remnant of a destroyed world. Its only city, Verens, is a somewhat strange place with its steampunk design and magitech technology. No two buildings ever seem to look the same, but perhaps it's not just because of the nature of its fashion. Emotions also help to change and sometimes warp the city and the island itself. Through these emotions, the island continues to grow, revealing more about what happened to the world below. These emotions can also play a role in much smaller ways. A simple laugh can illuminate a room, an angry outburst can shatter windows. The grass can both grow and wither depending on who is standing on it.
These emotions are collected in special crystal amulets and it is this amulet that you will rely on throughout your stay. As you meet and interact with people, explore the world, and go about your daily life, it will fill with the various emotions you experience. Keep it close, for it may prove to be the key to returning home.
Until then, get to know your new "home" and neighbors. Who knows what will be revealed next?"

Irate after a long journey and not impressed by the rustic environment, he huffed and walked towards the exit; the transfer hadn't been his idea but Sawmill required a temporary RED Medic to fill in the gap while a new one was being sourced. It was really all just bad luck especially as the administration had refused to allow him to bring his research and his equipment with him. He had been assured that he was only going to stay at a month at most, but really, it was just too bad of that other RED Medic to so inconveniently 'disappear' just like that.
The steady drizzle slowly turned into an outright downpour. Keeping himself under the roof as much as possible, Medic took a seat and crossed his legs, waiting for his ride to appear.

Send him to fight a million men with his twin axes, he'd rather face death then live another day in this new world. The memory of that day when the tear in the air had first appeared remains burned into his dreams; dragged through dark and cold energy and space, Zhang Liao had felt his very being pulled in every direction by the force that had him within its mysterious power. Nothing but blackness as far as the eye could see, and only the feel of wind to tell him that he was being sucked through a dark tunnel with no end in sight.
And abruptly light exploded all around him and he shot through the end, crashing into soft grass and flowers as he entered the 21st century.
Six months had passed and still no answer to his abrupt jump to the future, but fortune had granted him some reprieve. It was perhaps a stroke of luck that he had landed at the home of a certain Principality, a miracle that brother hadn't planted a bullet in his brain. Head pounding and confused, Zhang Liao found himself completely lost for words at the strange yellow-haired man screaming at him in words he did not understand. If it hadn't been for the young lady at the other man's side, the situation might've ended up ugly.
But Lady Lili had settled the situation between the two men before words turned to blows. It was Lady Lili who contacted Master Arthur and Master Wang, believing the two to hold the keys to the answer he seeks, and through her that he discovered that he had stepped forth into a world completely unlike his own.
While Master Arthur and Master Wang discussed matters, Lady Lili had offered Zhang Liao a place to stay. Perhaps it was because she was the first friendly face he had seen since he entered the new millennium that tipped the scales in favour of her offer over Master Wang's, but six months had passed while he slowly learned to adapt to modern society. Languages was not as hard as culture and the change in values; 21st century Liechtenstein was a universe away from 2nd century China. But Zhang Liao is tenacious and determined to master the ways of this unfamiliar world. If Master Wang and Master Arthur could not find him an answer, then he would need to seek one out himself. And he needs to be prepared.
Still, there are days when he is tired. When he is lonely, and longs for a familiar face from home. The lost of Lord Lu Bu and Lady Diaochan still weigh on his heart; it had been no longer than a week since their deaths when he had trespassed from one time to another, and the pain of losing a lord he respected and a lady he harboured illicit feelings for caused him far more suffering than his foreign environment. ④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!
ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
